WOO Asia Regional Seminar Successfully Hosted in Shenzhen, Starvision Serving as Local Organizer

On March 6, the OOH Regional Seminar Shenzhen, held with the support of the World Out of Home Organization (WOO), was held in Shenzhen. 65 industry representatives from 11 countries gathered to discuss the development and future trends of the Out-of-Home (OOH) industry in Asia.

STARVISION were honored to be the Local Organizer of this seminar, and Starvision supported the event as a sponsor as well. What made me especially happy was that many of the guests were visiting Shenzhen for the first time because of this event. Being able to introduce this vibrant and innovative city to industry friends from different countries made me very proud as a new resident in Shenzhen.

One key consensus from the seminar was clear: the next phase of growth for the OOH industry will not simply come from installing more screens, but from better audience measurement, stronger data capabilities, and closer collaboration across the industry. Several speakers highlighted that advertisers increasingly expect data-driven insights from OOH, including metrics such as reach, frequency, and measurable campaign outcomes. In Asia, markets such as Japan and Korea are already advancing audience measurement frameworks, laying the foundation for the development of programmatic DOOH.

The discussions also highlighted an important shift within the industry: media owners are moving from selling media locations to delivering measurable audiences and campaign performance. At the same time, sustainability and integration with smart city infrastructure are becoming key directions for the future of OOH.

After the event, on March 7, the delegates visited starvision’s booth in ISLE, where they expressed high appreciation for Starvision’s products.
