About the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway
The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is Indonesia’s first high-speed railway, connecting the capital city Jakarta with the fourth-largest city, Bandung. Spanning 142.3 kilometers, the railway features four stations: Halim, Karawang, Padalarang, and Tegalluar. Since its official operation began in October 2023, passenger traffic has continued to grow, significantly boosting regional transportation efficiency and becoming a driver of Indonesia’s economic development.
